Every MBA student can use a helping hand once in a while. Here are a few tried, tested and true links that can give you a leg up in SFU’s MBA program, whether you’re applying to join us, or your a current student at SFU in Vancouver. As a matter of fact, these links links are so universal, that even if you’re planing to study at LSB or Insead you’ll still want to keep them handy.
Probably the best-known forum for GMAT-related discussion, tips and analysis. The authors of this site have generously made their set of GMAT flash cards available to anyone who signs up. A word of caution, though: don’t let the advice you read on this site become a distraction from good old fashioned practice! People who’ve had average, everyday experiences with the GMAT tend not to write about them on forums.
If you’re like me, you’ll need a lot of help brushing up on math basics before the GMAT. This is a great site for getting back up to speed on basic math.
SFU MBA Semester 1 – Basic Business Principles
An MBA Accounting class can be a rough ride if you’re new to the material. This site has some great in-depth explanations of basic accounting concepts.

Gee, I wish they’d had tutorials on Youtube when I was at SFU. Actually, maybe they did. I never thought about looking. It’s funny how now Youtube is the standard place to look for “how to” explanations now.
